Project Description:
Triplett-King was selected by the SCDOT to perform Quality Assurance Inspection and Testing on the Highway 17 widening project in Mount Pleasant SC. Triplett-King is performing all QA testing, erosion control, traffic control and on-site inspection related to any construction on this project.
When completed, I526 on and off-ramps will both be widened to 5 lanes and 3 lanes respectively. US 17 will be widened to 6 lanes from the I526 ramps to the IOP Connector, and the IOP Connector itself will have turning lanes added in order to maintain one lane of through traffic to the Isle of Palms.
