Project Description:

Triplett-King conducted preliminary and final foundation design and management of purchase for prefabricated steel pedestrian bridges provided by Steadfast (Bridge 1) and by Bridge America (Bridges 2-5). These bridges serve a new recreational facility funded by the city of Rock Hill.

Preliminary design for this bridge consisted of determining required bridge lengths, determining foundation type and estimating quantities. In final design, TKA approved shop drawings provided by bridge manufacturers, designed concrete spread footings for the bridges, and supplied bid documents for the City of Rock Hill. The final product was 5 bridges of lengths varying from 25’-0” to 125’-0” with a 12’-0” wide walkway.
