Project Description:

As part of a Value-Engineering proposal by the contractor, Triplett-King performed the design and produced plans for this 512 ft., 4-span continuous for live load, BT-72 prestressed concrete beam bridge supported on drilled shafts and rock socket piers.

This redesign saved approximately $50,000 to the construction cost and several months of construction time due to the delivery date for the originally proposed structural steel girders. The complete redesign and plan development was accomplished in just four months.
