Project Description:

When the major floods of 1998 destroyed much of Eastern North Carolina, CP&L contracted with T.A. Loving Company and Triplett-King & Associates to “design-build” an earthen causeway over a canal that was completely washed out within the Lee Plant property. The complete design was performed in accordance with NCDOT Standards. The bridge consists of prestressed, hollow cored slabs supported on prestressed concrete piles.
