TKA’s bridge capabilities include bridge inspection with a team of NBIS certified bridge inspectors. Our experienced inspectors can evaluate the condition and durability of bridges in conformance with the national bridge inspection standards (NBIS). Our engineers can perform load ratings to determine the current in-service load carrying capacity based on the inspection results. The inspectors can identify critical areas that would benefit from repair and develop repair plans to rehabilitate a bridge back to a safe load carrying capacity or extend its normal service life. Additionally, TKA can provide specialized access with its own “under bridge inspection unit” to assist in a comprehensive detailed inspection. |
