VALUE ENGINEERING
Triplett-King has been successful in providing bridge design and transportation services to clients with projects very similar to the projects required from your company. Many of the projects our firm has been involved with are “fast track,” value-engineering redesigns and design-build projects that require a dedicated staff to perform the design, complete plans and get SCDOT approval on very accelerated schedules. Many of the value-engineering proposals and designs we have performed required the design and plans to be completed and the bridge construction completed within the original schedule when the project was bid and led to the contractors. We also have experience directly with the SCDOT Bridge Design office with projects on accelerated schedules including the I-95 Bridge Widening over S-26 in Florence and SC 295 Bridge Replacements over CSX and Fairforest Creek. After contract, we were asked by SCDOT to provide the Bridge Type study for the CSX crossing along SC 295 prior to the deadline. Triplett-King turned in the bridge study two weeks after notice to proceed, two months ahead of schedule.
