Mr. Jim Triplett is co-founder and CEO of Triplett-King with over 20 years of experience in the transportation and construction field. He has gained extensive knowledge and experience in Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build and Public Private Partnership delivery methods in SC, NC, GA, VA, MO and FL. As owner of United Contractors, LLC, a leading design-build contracting firm in the southeast, he is able to integrate professional engineering and construction services while pursuing the most interesting and challenging transportation construction projects.

Mr. Merritt King, co-founder and President of Triplett-King, has over 20 years of experience in transportation engineering and consulting and has become an expert with project management, contract administration, and construction management. Mr. King has been directly involved in over 300 highway and bridge design projects for a multitude of clients and managed over 15 major design-build transportation projects throughout the southeast. He serves as the backbone of Triplett-King and has grown the firm from a two-man consulting firm to a major transportation design firm.

Mr. Eric Burgess serves Triplett-King as the Design Services Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Triplett-King’s design engineers.  Mr. Burgess has served as Project Manager and Project Engineer since his start in 2000 with Triplett-King. He has worked on several large scale transportation projects during this time where he has become a leader in project management and design management.

Mr. Jim Fitz Morris serves as Senior Bridge Engineer for Triplett-King and has over 20 years of experience within the transportation field. He is a registered Professional Engineer in GA, IN, NY, NC, OH, PN, SC and MO. His experience includes quality assurance, inspections of highway bridges, steel curved girders, lift bridges, truss structures, steel and concrete arches, pretensioned and post-tensioned concrete, containment structures, bridge jacking, formwork and falsework and other contractor related services.

Mrs. Heidi Oates serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Triplett-King. Since joining Triplett-King in 2004, she has become very efficient in marketing and advertising for Triplett-King as well as public relations for major transportation projects. Mrs. Oates received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, where she focused on Public Relations. Her education in marketing and the public relations field tied in with the knowledge she has gained first hand with Triplett-King serve as a valuable asset to Triplett-King.

Mrs. Rhonda A. Stewart serves Triplett-King as Controller.  Rhonda prepares and maintains budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll, invoices and other financial documents.  She assists in completing audits, preparing Financial Statements and reconciling monthly closing reports. Rhonda also manages Human Resources.

Mrs. Shawn Parker serves as the Operations Assistant in Rock Hill, SC. She is responsible for assisting the engineers as well as maintaining office operations and document control.

Ms. Meghan Bondurant serves Triplett-King as the Administrative and Marketing Assistant for their Rock Hill office. Ms. Bondurant graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelors of Science in Journalism. She is proficient in graphic design, writing, proposal development and public relations.

Mr. Anthony Robinson is the IT Manger with Triplett-King.
